The Stolen Pig Rally is being held by Donald and Kathy McCoy at The    

Real McCoy Trails and The Hatfield-McCoy Resort in Historic Matewan

Wv.  Donald and Kathy McCoy are Direct descendants of The Hatfields        and The McCoys. ​ The Rally is for Street Legal Adventure Enduro Bikes.


There will be Leaded and Self Guided Routes Available from 60 -150      miles  including The Feud Loop for History Buffs. The Feud Loop Its self  consist of  awesome mixed Dual Sporting Roads. 


Because of its rich history (Hatfield McCoy feud and Matewan Massacre), Matewan was designated a National Historic Landmark. There is plenty    

to see and do. The main street is 2 blocks long and very interesting.

 

For all size Dual Sport adventure bikes, there are endless miles of riding. For street riding there's not a single quarter mile section of strait road in the region and plenty to see and do.


LEADED RIDES: There will be  leaded rides  available that include some awesome Backwoods Single Lane  Twisty B Top as well as some Dirt/Gravel Roads and all located within 10 miles of Matewan Camp Base. 


THE REAL MCCOY TRAILS: Headquartered in Matewan. Trails and routes are located within the WV, KY and VA borders with each state being within 10 miles of Matewan and located within the heart of Hatfield McCoy Feud Country. Most all feud sites are located within less than 15 miles from Matewan and are located on awesome routes and  the area view is spectacular. Imagine riding and exploring within the 2nd lowest valley within the Appalachian mountains and within the borders of 3 states loaded with awesome mountains, valleys and streams. 


​HATFIELD MCCOY BUFFALO TRAIL: Located adjacent to Matewan is the Buffalo Mountain Trail of Trails Heaven/Hatfield McCoy Trails.  A special 3 day Hatfield McCoy Trail permit starting Thursday April 27th will be made available for Rally Registrants only.  Compliments of Trails Heaven www.trailsheaven.com. The yearly permit cost $50.00 for out of state and $26.50  for in state. What a deal! The special permit welcomes riders to ride within the city limits of Matewan, Delbarton and Williamson where you can stop to refuel and explore the towns. The 3 towns are accessible through the dirt trails of The Buffalo Trail.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​For those of you who would like to stay in a room; contact The Hatfield McCoy Resort, at 304-426-4700, or at www.hatfieldmccoyresort.com .


While here you can pitch a tent or park your RV in a area  set aside by the town for the Stolen Pig Rally participants.  The tent sites are primitive and the RV sites have electric hook up only. There will be showers and restrooms available throughout the town and there's a dumping station for the RV's close by. 


Wingo's Grill is located here at The Resort and will be hosting a "Pig Out" Saturday night. Wingo's will be serving Pork BBQ Wood Smoked by The Real McCoy. Served with Baked Beans, Slaw, Texas Toast,  and one of our Famous Homemade BBQ Sauces. The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7:00am-10:00pm.


All  Rally Attendees will need to register "REGARDLESS OF WHERE YOU CHOOSE TO STAY".  When you arrive for the event you will need to pick up your registration package at The Hatfield McCoy Resort  Located on Main Street  of Historic Downtown Matewan WV beside the camp ground. The Package will include your weekend pass Wrist Band ,  items such as your Tent or RV camping pass, BBQ Dinner ticket, and your official event t-shirt.
